Dubai continues to solidify its position as a global tourism hub, with the latest figures from the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) revealing an impressive surge in overnight visitors during the first two months of the year.
According to DET‘s Tourism Performance Report for January-February 2024, Dubai welcomed 3.67 million overnight visitors, marking an impressive increase of over 18 pe rcent compared to the same period last year.
The report for January recorded 1.77 million visitors, with February witnessing 1.9 million arrivals.

Among the origins of visitors, Europe emerged as the leading source market during the period, with 773,000 tourists, constituting 21 per cent of the total.
South Asia followed closely behind, contributing 604,000 visitors, comprising 17 per cent of the overall arrivals. Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries ranked third with 549,000 visitors, representing 15 per cent of the total.
