Keeping in view the massive inflow of tourists, the country has announced several changes to make the visa process hassle free for the applicants.
Last year, Japan launched e-visa was introduced for tourism purposes. The new permit streamlines entry procedures for nationalities that require a visa to enter Japan.
UAE national are exempted from visa to enter Japan, as per the revised policy 2022. However, residents of other countries, including Pakistan, are required to obtain a visa to explore the island nation. Pakistanis residing in the UAE can avail the e-Visa service of Japan.
