SEOUL, May 30 (Yonhap) — South Korea and the United Arab Emirates have agreed to broaden cultural exchanges and cooperation, the culture ministry said Thursday.
South Korea’s Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Yu In-chon and his UAE counterpart, Salem bin Khalid Al Qassimi, signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) in Seoul on Wednesday, which calls for increasing exchanges and cooperation in the cultural field.
The signing came in the wake of a summit between South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol and UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan earlier that day.
