UAE airlines announced the cancellation of some flights and the re-routing of others as multiple countries in the region closed their airspaces temporarily, following Iran’s missile and drone attack on Israel on Saturday.
An Emirates spokesperson told ARN, “Following recent airspace closures, Emirates has cancelled some flights and rerouted others.
“We are closely monitoring the situation and are making all efforts to ensure minimal disruption to customers, while assisting impacted passengers.
“Emirates advises customers departing or arriving at Dubai International Airport to check their flight status on emirates.com for the latest information regarding their flights.”
