UAE Announces Public And Private Holidays For 2025

The UAE cabinet has announced the holidays for 2025 for both the public and private sectors. According to a resolution passed by the government, both public and private sectors will get a holiday on January 1st, 2025. The Islamic New Year, Muharram 1, will also be observed as a holiday. However, the precise date on the Gregorian calendar has not yet been determined. Also, an extended weekend from Shawaal 1–3 in observance of Eid Al-Fitr and if Ramadan lasts 30 days, there will be an additional day off.
