Atlys data reveals that 21 per cent of Holi-related visa applications are from Indians heading abroad, reflecting a growing trend of blending cultural festivities with global exploration.
According to the data, a significant 21 per cent of Indian families and groups are planning Holi celebrations in destinations such as Japan, Thailand, Dubai, and Singapore. The long weekend has contributed to a 27.2 per cent increase in family travel compared to last year, as shorter work and school breaks offer an ideal opportunity to combine the joy of Holi with a getaway.
