Travel startup Lighthouse, formerly known as OTA Insight, has acquired Berlin-based HQ Revenue. The move is a part of Lighthouse’s expansion strategy that focuses on augmenting its talent and technology resources instead of merely increasing its customer base. Lighthouse, which aids hotels and short-term rentals in assessing market demand, their rates, and positioning, has secured over $100 million in venture funding, and currently serves 65,000 hoteliers. The financial details of the acquisition have not been disclosed.
