NAVITIME Japan, a leading navigation app provider, has started offering a generative AI-based travel planning function on Japan Travel by NAVITIME, a web service for inbound travelers to Japan. They expect that it will be helpful for first-time travelers to Japan.

NAVITIME has provided a generative AI-based ‘NAVITIME Travel AI’ for ‘NAVITIME Travel ‘ for domestic travels since March 2024. 

With this function, foreign travelers can enter their departure and destination in Japan and specify the number of days they will stay (between 3 and 10 days) in a dialogue with the AI, and the AI will then suggest a travel plan that takes into account the optimal means of transportation.
