KAWASAKI Kisen Kaisha Ltd. (“K” LINE) and Inmarsat Maritime, a Viasat company, recently announced a partnership to trial Inmarsat’s innovative bonded network service, NexusWave.
NexusWave is designed to deliver high-speed, always-on connectivity for ships, enabling seamless ship-to-shore communications.
This will enhance various aspects of ship operations, including digitalization, environmental response, and crew welfare. Key features of NexusWave include high-speed connectivity, global coverage and enhanced security.
