Sumitomo Mitsui Card (SMCC), one of the largest credit card issuers in Japan, has entered the travel space.
SMCC, part of SMBC Group, has partnered with Hopper’s B2B division, Hopper Technology Solutions (HTS), to create a travel loyalty portal launching next year that will allow cardholders and rewards program members to book flights, car rentals and accommodations.
