American Airlines is now incentivizing travel advisors to use their New Distribution Capability (NDC), following a u-turn on its decision to exclude many from its loyalty program. The incentives include added rewards for booking American Airlines’ enhanced products like Main Select, Main Plus and Flagship Business Plus flights until the end of September. Advisors will also receive bonuses for booking the airline’s ancillary products. This move is part of the airline’s strategy to remove obstacles for its trade partners.
