In May 2024, Navan’s New Distribution Capability (NDC) system was used for nearly a third of all flights booked in Europe, up from 20% in May 2023. With NDC connections to 12 European airlines, Navan reported the highest proportion of NDC bookings in Germany where it reached 45%, an increase from 37% the previous year. Bookings were largely driven by Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, KLM, and Swiss flights. France and the Netherlands were second in NDC utilization with 31% of Navan’s bookings in these countries made through NDC. This marked a significant increase from 7% and 10% respectively in May 2023. The UK was third with NDC bookings representing 29% of flight bookings, up from 21% in May 2023, with British Airways NDC bookings primarily driving this increase.
