In 2025, Burgas Municipality will focus on digitalization and the even more active use of technologies in the tourism sector, Burgas Deputy Mayor for Tourism Manol Todorov said during the opening of the TravelX conference on Thursday in Burgas.
Todorov emphasised that the seaside municipality has made significant progress in terms of digitalization in all sectors of the economy in recent years.
Andrey Lilov, co-founder and CEO of Urbo Studio, pointed out that Burgas was among the first cities in Bulgaria to harness the potential of digital technologies, and that is why they decided to hold this year’s edition of TravelX here. The company specializes in offering comprehensive software solutions for a number of businesses and their specific needs. Lilov noted that they have been working with the municipal administration for many years.
