Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) has announced a pioneering partnership with Web3 innovator Open World to introduce tokenised travel rewards, marking a first-of-its-kind move in the region’s tourism landscape.
The collaboration, formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Arabian Travel Market 2025, is designed to embed blockchain into Ras Al Khaimah’s tourism ecosystem. The programme will offer travellers digital reward tokens, exclusive experiences, and personalised offers based on their tourism spend, aiming to transform engagement through secure, traceable, and decentralised digital rewards.
