Jeju Island, South Korea’s premier tourist destination, is set to launch NFT-powered “visitor cards” in 2025, targeting younger travellers seeking unique experiences. This first-of-its-kind approach seeks to cultivate island tourism through innovative means, offering exclusive access to attractions and accommodation packages for a limited time.
The self-governing province plans to unveil “Tao” cards integrated with cryptographic tokens starting early next year.
