In summer 2024, domestic and international travel bookings received a 30% rise, as per the data by the travel credit card platform Scapia, compared to the figures in January. Domestic travel was popular in Goa, Varanasi, Srinagar, Port Blair, and Leh. Meanwhile, international hotspots were the UAE, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and Sri Lanka. A significant trend observed was an increase in solo travel, particularly among women, at an impressive growth rate of 47%.
