Travelzoo plans to launch a travel metaverse named Travelzoo Meta in September as a way to attract new customers. The venture, which started testing in May, will offer browser-enabled travel experiences in the metaverse and is expected to appeal to a new generation of members, along with complementing real-life travel experiences curated by Travelzoo for its existing 30 million members. Currently, their investment in this project is modest.
