Online business travel platform TravelPerk, based in Barcelona, has acquired Chicago-based corporate travel company AmTrav. The latter primarily serves small and medium-sized US companies, offering a platform for booking trips, managing payments and expenses, and setting travel policies. The acquisition terms were not disclosed. Despite the acquisition, AmTrav, with 130 employees in Los Angeles and its West Loop office, will continue to operate independently and there will be no changes to its leadership.
