The government will allocate HK$1.235 billion to the Hong Kong Tourism Board in the coming fiscal year to revitalize the city’s tourism industry and drive economic growth, Financial Secretary Paul Chan Mo-po said.
This funding will support the implementation of the Development Blueprint for Hong Kong’s Tourism Industry 2.0, which aims to promote the concept of “tourism is everywhere” and enhance the city’s global appeal.
Chan announced that the Tourism Board has signed a three-year global strategic partnership with Art Basel, featuring immersive Hong Kong cultural experience zones at all four annual Art Basel shows worldwide.
