U.S. coastal areas such as Delaware and Maryland are seeing an increase in bookings for short-term rentals and vacation homes over the upcoming holiday weekend, based on data from AirDNA. However, New York City is not experiencing the same demand in bookings as coastal destinations, which have seen a 7.7% rise since last year with 1.63 million nights booked. Other small city and rural destinations have also seen a boost of 10.6% in bookings compared to the previous year.
