The Chinese government has confirmed it will double the visa-free travel period from 15 days to 30 days for Malaysia’s tourists. The change was announced by Malaysian’s Deputy PM, Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, during his official visit to China. China has been relaxing visa restrictions for tourists from around the globe and already signed a permanent visa-free agreement with Thailand in March 2017. Beijing recently, also expanded visa exemption privileges for 12 other countries.
