Vijayawada: In a significant step towards district-level progress, the second district review committee (DRC) meeting of NTR district was held at Kondapalli Qilla, promoting the tourism sector. The meeting, chaired by district in-charge minister Satyakumar Yadav, reviewed progress on 113 issues raised in the previous DRC meeting held on Nov 30, 2024.
Key discussions included CCRC cards for tenant farmers, minimum support price for chillies, industrial park development, and infrastructure upgrades such as power supply and irrigation projects. The meeting also addressed pressing civic concerns, including monkey and stray dog problems in Vijayawada, affecting both residents and farmers.
