Co Kerry’s new “place brand” aims to promote the county as a place to visit, work and live
The “unified place brand” will promote the county as a place to visit, work and live, and in doing so help to attract tourism, investment and foster economic growth, stakeholders say.
It includes a logo based on the letter ‘K’, which is described as “a simple and distinctive mark” inspired by the county’s landscape, identity and iconography within the county crest.
The brand will be rolled out across a revamped website (discoverykerry.com), social media and video, and follows the news that Kerry was named ‘Ireland’s Best Holiday County’ in the Irish Independent’s Reader Travel Awards 2024.
