With a penchant for globetrotting and a decade of professional travel experience under her belt, Jodie Collett has launched her own luxury travel brand – she tells Danielle Lett how she is ready to take on the world
From her days of travelling with her family around the world – even playing a starring role in her travel agent father Roy Collett’s hotel showround videos – Jodie Collett was always destined to work in luxury travel.
But the launch of By Jodie Travel marks her first solo foray into luxury travel and having affiliated with 360 Private Travel, Collett says business is already booming.
“I joined 360 as I felt aligned with the brand,” she says. “A lot of young women in the same situation as me already work with them, so it all felt very relatable. So far, the support has been amazing and I’ve already made quite a few bookings.”
These include holidays to destinations outside of her usual “comfort zone” of the Indian Ocean, such as Barbados, Grenada and all-inclusive resorts in Europe.
