Hawaii’s tourism industry continues to rebound, with over 770,000 visitors arriving in October 2024, nearly matching pre-pandemic levels from October 2019.
However, the Japanese market remains slow to recover, with just under 67,000 Japanese visitors in October, still less than half of the numbers seen before COVID-19.
