Powell added that Hurtigruten is a company that he had “long admired”, adding that now was “a fantastic opportunity” to lead the company’s UK and EMEA teams.
“I have been lucky enough to form strong relationships in the industry, and I feel very fortunate to now be joining a business with such awareness and recognition of the importance of their agent partners,” he said.
“I also feel very privileged to inherit such a strong, dedicated, and passionate team that together with our trade partners will be vital in supporting the growth of Hurtigruten as we embark on this next phase.”
Chief commercial officer Patrick Brewer said: “[Powell] brings with him extensive experience and trade network from the travel and cruise industry, which will be of high importance for us in the coming time of increasing our sales goals in these key markets.
