Expedia’s 24th global Vacation Deprivation study offers insights into the work-life balance of over 11,000 workers from the Asia-Pacific region. The report ranks Singapore as the 5th most vacation-deprived country worldwide with 66% of employees feeling deprived, a 4% rise from the year prior. Specifically, the study found that 66% of millennials in Singapore report feeling vacation deprived, which is higher than the global average of 62%. Following closely behind are Gen Z workers at 63%, while only 46% of Boomers report feeling deprived. The report also indicates that Singaporeans receive an average of 20.2 vacation days.
