Qantas will resume flights with refurbished Airbus A380s on its “Kangaroo route” between Australia and London via Singapore from Monday (20 June).
The aircraft will resume operations on the service for the first time since March 2020. The service restarted in November 2021 with a Boeing 787 Dreamliner flight via Darwin.
Qantas will offer a daily return A380 service from Sydney to London, via Singapore, as well as 20 A330 flights a week from Singapore to Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Melbourne.
The aircraft’s premium cabins have also been updated to include 14 First Suites, six additional Business Suites, bringing the total to 70, and 25 more Premium Economy seats.
