Bhubaneswar: Deputy chief minister Pravati Parida on Wednesday inaugurated an Odisha pavilion at World Travel Market (WTM) London 2024, marking a significant step in promoting the state’s tourist destinations to British and European markets. The inauguration was attended by India’s High Commissioner to UK, Vikram Doraiswami, and other dignitaries.
“The Odisha pavilion features immersive displays of iconic attractions including the Konark Sun Temple, Jagannath Temple in Puri, Chilika Lake and the state’s pristine beaches and wildlife reserves. The exhibition highlights niche tourism products such as Eco Retreat, nature camps and water sports activities,” a govt statement said.
