Bhopal: Pachmarhi’s tourism industry is witnessing a surge in hotel bookings for the New Year celebrations. Local hotels are experiencing massive demand, leading to room rates soaring to three to four times their regular prices. The hill station’s hospitality sector expects record-breaking business during this period.
There are around 150 hotels including 13 units of MPT in Pachmarhi.
The surge in bookings has affected both luxury and budget accommodations across Pachmarhi. Standard rooms that typically cost Rs 2,000-3,000 per night are now being quoted at Rs 7,000-10,000. Premium properties are commanding even higher rates due to their exclusive amenities and prime locations.
