What is the best way to get to your destination?
Visitors can fly directly from the UK and Ireland into Orlando International airport and it is then around an hour’s drive to Florida’s Atlantic east coast and Daytona Beach. Alternatively, they can fly directly into Daytona International airport via the US. This airport is just a few minutes’ drive from the centre of Daytona Beach.

Daytona Beach’s stunning 23-mile-long pristine stretch of white-sand beach offers a wonderful oceanside world of fun. Find your own spot of paradise to set up your towel along the area’s spacious beaches or enjoy many beach activities to keep the whole family occupied. Cycling along the hard-packed sand is a wonderful way to explore the coastline. Alternatively, enjoy a water-based activity like fishing, boating, surfing, paddleboarding or kayaking.
The area offers so much more besides the beautiful beach to fulfil an array of interests though, from motor racing, arts and culture to family attractions complimented by a wonderful selection of dining options. Explore the world-famous Daytona International Speedway, the Museum of Arts and Sciences, the Cici & Hyatt Brown Museum of Art and dozens of other museums and galleries, as well as the iconic Daytona Beach Boardwalk & Pier.
Family attractions include Daytona Lagoon, which offers everything from thrill slides and chill pools to go-karts and laser tag, or head south to explore Ponce Inlet, a naturally beautiful area that is home to Florida’s tallest lighthouse – which visitors can climb to the top for spectacular 360-degree views of the beach and inlet. Visit the Marine Science Center to see sea turtles up-close at the rehabilitation facility and stroke stingrays, or visit their new Raptor Education and Conservation Exhibit, which is dedicated to raptors that, due to injuries, cannot be returned to the wild. Manatees and dolphins can be seen by climbing aboard an eco-cruise for a scenic excursion.
New attractions in the area include the Daytona Aquarium and Rainforest Adventure and The Riverfront Esplanade, a beautiful outdoor space to enjoy complete with walking trails; a creek; waterfalls; a great assortment of flowers, plants and trees; and even a splash pad for the kids.
