Rida International Travel & tourism, a leading Destination Management Company (DMC) in the Middle East, has appointed industry veteran Abraham John as their representative in India.
In the new role, John will focus on marketing Rida International Travel & tourism and help in enhancing the company’s visibility in India with an emphasis on luxury travel, upmarket groups and MICE business, a statement said.
John brings with him an experience of 50 years in the travel and tourism industry, starting his career with Travel Corporation India (TCI) in 1974 followed by a 28-year stint in Bahrain where he managed Sunshine Tours.
John was also responsible for successfully launching and executing the Bahrain Travel & tourism Exhibition (BITE), an international event for the industry.
