In recent days, southern Italy’s Campi Flegrei region, located near Naples, has been experiencing an increase in seismic activity. The volcanic caldera, which is one of the most active in Europe, has shaken the area with tremors, including a 4.4 magnitude earthquake. This seismic surge, combined with a similar tremor earlier in May, has raised alarms as it marked the strongest tremor in 40 years.
