Seychelles is set to host its Ocean Festival from 28-30 November, marking the return of the event after a five-year hiatus. Originally known as SUBIOS (Sub Indian Ocean Seychelles), the festival has expanded to include sailing, water sports, sustainable seafood gastronomy and diving activities under the theme “Safeguarding Our Oceans.”
Tourism Seychelles’ Marketing Director Bernadette Willemin emphasised the festival’s role in promoting and protecting the country’s marine assets through collaboration between NGOs, government entities and tourism establishments.
