The spread of Covid-19 has hit hard especially in tourism industry since there were no travellers. With borders closed and travel restrictions everywhere, popular tourist spots saw a huge drop in visitors.
In a recent study shared by @seasia.stats, Malaysia secured the 3rd spot in Southeast Asia, ranking 35th globally in The Travel & tourism Development Index (TTDI) 2024.

According to The Travel & tourism Decelopment Index (TTDI) 2024, Malaysia secures the 3rd spot in Southeast Asia with a score of 4.28. Thailand follows closely in 4th place (47th globally) with a score of 4.12, and Vietnam ranks 5th (59th globally( with a score of 3.96.
