Transport for London (TfL) has introduced ten new Cycleways to London’s cycling network, increasing its coverage by 35km from 90km in 2016 to 390km in June 2024. The new routes are designed to improve safety and accessibility for all cyclists, promoting diversity. The Cycleways extend from locations including Folkestone Gardens to New Cross to Greenwich, Stratford, Woodgrange Park, and from Burnt Oak to Colindale.
