The Cuban Ministry of Tourism affirmed on social media that the fifth best hotel in the world is located on the Island, despite the fact that the tourism sector is still in decline, showing the worst figures since 2003.
In a post on Facebook, the regime’s entity highlighted that the hotel Iberostar Grand Packard was selected last year to be part of the Travellers’ Choice – Best of the Best 2024 by Tripadvisor:
In the World Luxury category, it ranked second, while in the Top World category, it placed fifth.
On that occasion, alongside the Iberostar Grand Packard in Havana, the Mystique Trinidad La Popa from the Royalton chain also ranked 19th among the best in the world.
