A total of 11 German travel agents – all specialists in business travel and members of a travel agency network called Lufthansa City Center – have been visiting Ireland, as guests of Tourism Ireland and Fáilte Ireland.
The travel agents have been following a bespoke itinerary showcasing our superb offering for the MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and events) sector.
Their itinerary included a visit to Howth Castle and an immersive gin experience at Pearse Lyons Distillery. In Wicklow, they visited the Powerscourt Hotel, explored the Powerscourt Estate and enjoyed a sheepdog and falconry demonstration.
