The Marianas Visitors Authority admitted that the CNMI as a destination took a beating in fiscal year 2024 but is expecting a slight improvement in the coming fical year.
“We are projecting a slight increase in overall arrivals for fiscal year 2025 compared to fiscal year 2024 but the increase is still paltry compared to the number of arrivals we had when we had direct flights from mainland China before COVID-19,” said MVA managing director Christopher A.
