Tourism is flourishing in Soufriere and many business entities in the community are benefitting from it.
That’s according to Cletus Didier, president of the Soufriere Taxi Association (STA), in an interview with Loop News.
He identified some of the business entities benefitting from the flourishing tourist industry in Soufriere, including Airbnbs, restaurants, car rental establishments, and taxi operators, including water taxi operators.
“I am yet to hear a complaint from any taxi driver. They are quite happy and content. They get business throughout the day, sometimes from morning into late evening. Everybody is busy,” Didier said.
He said the season has been good so far, and he expects it to continue for a while.
