Event organiser Andrew Mabbutt said the charity competition on 31 May is targeting £50,000 in donations, which will be split between two charities – Just a Drop and the Street Soccer Foundation – which seeks to help vulnerable young people by engaging them through the sport.
With 14 teams already signed up to the five-a-side competition, there are two spaces left in the event which is being held at Fulham FC’s Craven Cottage ground in west London.
Mabbutt said: “The day is just another example of the travel industry always looking for ways to give back and we’re encouraging anyone and everyone to come along with teams consisting of all genders and abilities.
“Last year’s inaugural event was great fun and we raised £25,000 and this year we’re aiming to double that [figure].”
