The Tourism Sector Council in Iraq announced today, Wednesday, the development of a tourism strategy and studies for 2025 that support the tourism file.
The head of the council, Aziz Al-Tamimi, said in a press statement, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “We are pleased and proud to congratulate the Iraqi people, the Iraqi government, and all brothers and sisters working in the tourism sector on the occasion of choosing Baghdad as the Arab Tourism Capital for the year 2025,” considering that “Iraq’s success in passing the required tourism standards resulted from the combination of all efforts aimed at strengthening the tourism sector in the country.”
