They highlight that their small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) members don’t have extensive cash reserves readily available, and they lack the capability or influence to secure substantial compensation from the airports. These SMEs are left facing cash flow problems as a result of third-party shortcomings. This indicates a significant imbalance within the travel industry. Customers booking directly with airlines usually receive reimbursement from the airline or their travel insurance. In sum, the current situation in the industry is seen as unfair and unequal.
