Chinese tourism significantly impacts various European destinations economically. Since the Covid-19 pandemic, the industry in the People’s Republic of China has not recouped fully. Even 18 months after lifting Covid restrictions, international travel from China is still lagging. An analysis suggests that the escalating costs and difficulties in acquiring visas have stymied tourism growth. Visitors often frequent destinations like the Marx-Engels Monument in Berlin.
