Travel tech company Stay22 reported that travel bloggers saw a drop of up to 75% in their organic traffic. Stay22 utilizes artificial intelligence and machine learning to link travel content creators like bloggers and media publications with affiliate marketing programs of travel sellers. The negative impact of the update was experienced throughout the travel sector, including hotels and smaller online travel agencies, who also reported major decreases in their traffic. So far, Google has not publicly provided any details about the update.
