Azerbaijan has initiated discussions with Brazil on expanding cooperation in the tourism sector, with a focus on fostering bilateral ties and sustainability in tourism initiatives.
The talks were held on November 22, during a meeting between the Chairman of Azerbaijan’s State Tourism Agency, Fuad Naghiyev, and the Brazilian Minister of Tourism, Celso Sabino, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
The sides explored various opportunities for collaboration, particularly in the context of “Tourism Day” on the margins of the Baku-hosted COP29. They emphasized the importance of maintaining the sustainability of the initiatives discussed and pledged to continue joint efforts to enhance cooperation in tourism.
