GOL Linhas Aéreas has announced two new routes that will enhance connectivity in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, starting in May 2025. These connections will link Porto Alegre (POA) with Buenos Aires (AEP) and Caxias do Sul (CXJ) with Rio de Janeiro (GIG).
Starting May 5, 2025, GOL will operate three weekly flights between Porto Alegre and Jorge Newbery Aeroparque in Buenos Aires. This route addresses the growing demand from business travelers and tourists between Brazil and Argentina, following the recent resumption of flights between Brasília and Buenos Aires.
Porto Alegre now joins 12 Brazilian cities offering direct flights to Buenos Aires, alongside São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Florianópolis, and Recife.
