Air Canada recently upped its baggage fees, and is now charging $5 more for the first checked bag on economy-class fares.
For trips booked on or after February 28, the airline will now charge between $35 and $42 for the first checked bag for basic and standard economy fares in North America, the Caribbean, and Central America.
