Axis Vistara Infinite Credit Card to make changes to its ‘gold’ benefit: Check fees and other features

Axis Bank has informed its card members about changes to its ‘Axis Vistara Infinite Credit Card’. According to Live from Lounge report, the lender has revealed that the Gold Status, a benefit offered for the first year of holding the Axis Bank Vistara co-branded Infinite Credit Card, will no longer be automatically granted from the second year onwards.

Instead, Club Vistara will require cardmembers to contribute revenue to Vistara to qualify for the Gold status, the report said.

CNBC-TV18 has reached out to Axis Bank on the same and a response is awaited.

Privileges of ‘gold status’

Gold members get several privileges, including a guaranteed economy-class seat.

This benefit can be availed by submitting a request within 48 hours of departure time, particularly when business class or premium economy seats are unavailable.

Additional perks of gold status include complimentary Wi-Fi, rescheduling fee waivers, and priority airport check-in.

Gold and Platinum members of Club Vistara are granted access to the Delhi-T3 Vistara lounge and other partner lounges on the departure date, irrespective of their cabin class.

Priority for waitlist clearance is determined by the availability of seats and the member’s tier level, with the member who reserved the ticket first getting precedence if two members are on the same tier level.

Additionally, cardholders can get a fine indulgence in dining with a minimum 15% discount at over 5,000 restaurants across the country through Axis Bank Dining Delights.

Travel insurance includes coverage for loss of travel documents, delay of check-in baggage, loss of check-in baggage, and lost card liability protection, with varying amounts for each scenario.

For Axis Vistara Infinite Cardholders, milestone benefits are based on the amount spent in a year.

These benefits range from bonus CV Points to complimentary Business Class tickets.
