A bomb threat targeting Vistara flight UK611 from Delhi caused a brief scare at Srinagar International Airport on Friday, May 31. The alarm was raised when Air Traffic Control (ATC) Srinagar received a threatening call.

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) quickly took action, isolating the plane and conducting a thorough security check.

An airport official confirmed by phone that the threat was deemed non-credible, according to Srinagar Airport authorities.
